I completed my Masters in Social Work at UBC-Okanagan. As a highly empathic counsellor, I am skilled at providing a safe and accepting environment for my clients to explore their challenges and embrace healing and growth. I believe that learning and change are a life-long process, and am passionate about collaborating with clients to identify and achieve their goals, whatever they may be. In line with my holistic, strengths-based, and client-centred values, I draw on a wide range of approaches to meet my clients' needs, such as mindfulness, humanistic, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural (CBT), narrative and family systems, along with an understanding of neurobiological research. Over the years, I have helped clients address a variety of issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, anger, ADHD, addictions, and abuse, as well as life transitions, grief/loss, parenting challenges, relationship issues, and separation/divorce.
